Started off with doodles in class. Then I got into a Mood. Yeh.
I doodled some stuff on the back of a handout in math a few days ago and just now scanned it. While I was at it, I went and got some Karkat doodles I did a few weeks ago.
Funny how I finally draw a Snake I really like after giving my friend the other one. Ah well, more free art for you, Phantom.
I tried doing a progression with a… not sure how to describe that first Karkat, but it moved up into realistic. …before I realized it was terrible, so I had Karkat recognize that. There’s also some mock character select screen idea for a Homestrife thing, which I know is in production, but a person can have fun, right?
Bullfrogs make an odd sound when threatened.

I like to believe Karkat can be my guinea pig for distressed or angry faces. I also believe John is the best person to be causing them. However, I also believe that is the shittiest hugging I’ve ever drawn. wweh.
I finished Jade so now they are all put together in their original sizes and neatly put together in a photoset! Jade is both intentionally and unintentionally smaller than the rest of them, though. Whoops. U_U;;
I should learn to parse rants on tumberer. Basically: I drew Dave’s glasses, then a rough Dave, then John’s glasses, then an inadequate John, then a clean John, then a clean Dave.
Keep an eye out for Jade and Rose in the (hopefully) near future!
This is a sort of “not enough time to do my original idea completely” sort of thing. I had another idea in mind, but unfortunately it percolated in the middle of the day where I had no means to really draw it down.
For now, you get a shitty drawing using the crayon brush in Sai I’ve been doing for the last 5 or so hours by now. Enjoy this thing about a person celebrating a fictional person’s birthday.
This guy.

For the record, the first one was drawn in a moving vehicle (I can also get away with four fingers because this is not the serious style). I’ll make it beieiutiful tomorrow if I can. EDIT: I just noticed I accidentally drew Dave with five fingers, curse you muscle memory!
